Introduction

This Licensing Policy ("Policy") governs the terms under which Creatorslog ("we," "us," "our," or "the Agency") licences creative works to clients ("you" or "the Client"). By engaging our services and using our licensed materials, you agree to the terms set forth below.

1. Grant of License

1.1 Upon full payment and project completion, Creatorslog grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the deliverables as outlined in the project agreement or quote. This licence is limited to the specific purposes and usage terms defined in the contract.

1.2 Scope of Licence: Unless otherwise specified, the licence permits use within the agreed project scope and geographic location and may not extend to sublicensing or redistribution.

1.3 Duration: The licence term is specified in the project agreement and may be subject to renewal.

2. Ownership and Intellectual Property

2.1 Creatorslog retains full ownership of all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in any materials produced unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.2 Client’s Rights: You are granted rights to use, reproduce, and distribute the deliverables solely for the agreed-upon purposes.

2.3 Agency’s Rights: Creatorslog reserves the right to showcase all licensed works in our portfolio and marketing materials unless expressly prohibited by a separate agreement.

3. Usage Restrictions

The Client is restricted from the following unless otherwise authorised by Creatorslog in writing:

  • Modification: Altering or creating derivative works based on our deliverables.

  • Resale or Redistribution: Selling, sublicensing, or redistributing the deliverables to third parties.

  • Extended Usage: Any use outside the specified purpose, format, or medium, including but not limited to broadcast, resale, or sub licensing for commercial gain.

  • Unauthorised use of the licensed work may result in revocation of the licence and further legal action.

4. Third-Party Content and Licensing

4.1 If third-party materials (e.g., stock images, fonts, music) are included in the deliverables, Creatorslog will obtain necessary permissions within the project’s scope and as specified in the quote.

4.2 Client Responsibility: Should you intend to use the third-party elements outside the project scope, you must secure additional licensing or permissions directly from the third-party content provider.

4.3 Compliance: You agree to comply with all terms imposed by third-party licensors, including usage limitations and fees associated with extended use.

5. Attribution

Creatorslog may require attribution in cases where deliverables are displayed publicly. If required, the attribution terms will be outlined in the project agreement. Removal of such attribution without prior consent may constitute a violation of the licensing terms.

6. Termination of License

This licence will terminate automatically upon:

  • Breach of any of the terms in this Policy or project agreement.

  • Failure to comply with payment terms outlined in the contract.

  • Termination of the client agreement, including non-renewal of project terms.

Upon termination, all rights revert to Creatorslog, and you must discontinue use of the deliverables and destroy any copies in your possession, unless separately agreed.

7. Limitation of Liability

Creatorslog is not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the Client’s use of licensed materials beyond the agreed terms.

8. Policy Updates

Creatorslog reserves the right to update this Policy at any time to reflect changes in legal requirements or agency practices. Any substantial changes will be communicated to clients with a reasonable notice period.
